Walking to School
We encourage our children to walk to school, or even part of the journey (if possible) each day. The children record on a class chart, each time they walk to school on a Wednesday. In recognition of this pupils are awarded with a WOW Badge.
Driving to school
We encourage you to walk part of your journey. Please park safely and sensibly; FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN THE CARPARK IS FOR STAFF ONLY and not for dropping off/picking up children. Please refer to a letter from our Chair of Governors, A Foulkes with regards to Health & Safety and Parking.
Be Bright, Be Seen
If you’re a motorist then you’ll know how difficult it can sometimes be to see pedestrians wearing dark clothes at night or when visibility is poor. Your child has been learning the road safety message ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ at school, and it’s important that you as a parent or carer help your child to be easily seen near traffic.
Cycling to school
We do have an area for bikes and scooters to be parked. The school gates are locked from 9am to 3.15 pm. For safety of all please do not ride your bike or scooter on the playgrounds or paths and pay attention to the signage. Thankyou
Any concerns over road safety and parking call Prescot Police on 101 and log concerns.
