Year 3

In our class we like to read in our Reading corner, write for different purposes in our Writing area and use our Maths Table to challenge ourselves.

*Our PE Day is Tuesday* Children should come to school on this day in their school PE kit.

We like to keep fit and be healthy, we really enjoy P.E. and outdoor play.  In Year 3 we are having a great time writing, we are becoming independent writers. We are really enjoying our Maths challenges – Maths is so much fun! We also have great fun in art looking at the work of artist and focusing on portraits, creating our own pieces.

Year 3 Info

The children are working hard on becoming independent learners developing their resilience, determination, and perseverance. In our topic Emperors and Empires, we are enjoying researching the growth and expansion of the Roman Empire and the impact it has had on our life today. In Design Technology we have developed our knowledge of healthy eating designing and cooking our own healthy tacos with a great range of fillings.

 Key Information:

• Homework is set on Friday and is due in by the following Wednesday
• The children are given spellings and times tables to learn each week
